This is an entry-level course to the fitness industry as a Fitness Walking Instructor which will give you the opportunity to register as a Level 2 Physical Activity Advisor (PAA) on the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). We also have a L2 Award in Walk Leading for anyone that would like to just lead walks without the additional learning.
During this course, you will learn the skills to be competent and confident in leading safe, effective and enjoyable walking sessions. Walking is a hugely popular form of physical activity and exercise for a large range of ages and abilities because it is enjoyable, scenic, social and versatile. Becoming a fitness walking leader will enable new and existing fitness professionals to expand on their current job roles with the potential to earn more money.
